Only at the age of 21, Hayden Simpson finished his season at Southern Arkansas University with a 13-1 record a 1.81 ERA in 15 starts. He made also three shutouts and six complete games whereas striking out 131 in 99 1/3 innings. His excellent resume makes him a total complete player and will emerge as a threat to any teams.
The Chicago Cubs only hopes that Hayden Simpson would put up good numbers to help the franchise back to its winning ways. Cubs scouting director Tim Wilken feels that Hayden Simpson could be a potential starter this coming season.
